Raw airs tonight (Oct. 28) with a live show from GIANT Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. This is the final episode of Raw during the four week build towards Crown Jewel, which takes place on Saturday (Nov. 2) in Saudi Arabia.
Dominik Mysterio is being set up to get his ass kicked tonight, and Carlito’s time with The Judgment Day might be coming to an end as a result. It all started last week when Carlito laughed at the idea that Dominik can beat World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER. Liv Morgan told Carlito that’s not cool, before Raquel Rodriguez questioned what he even brings to the table as part of The Judgment Day. Carlito claimed that he brings the cool factor to the group, but nobody was buying it, so he instead said he’s The Fixer. He proceeded to fix this problem by going to General Manager Adam Pearce and getting Dirty Dom a match tonight against a former world champion. If Dom wins, he will be booked in a number one contender’s match. However, Carlito forgot to find out the name of this former world champion. That’s not cool, Carlito.
The most logical choice for the mystery former world champion is Damian Priest, who already confronted GUNTHER and told him he’s coming to take his belt back after Crown Jewel. If Priest is the mystery opponent and wins, it makes sense for him to be placed in a number one contender’s match instead of Daddy Dom. This will especially get under the skin of Finn Balor, who can’t stand the idea of Damian regaining the number one prize on Raw. There’s a good chance that Dominik is getting his ass kicked even if Damian Priest isn’t the mystery man, because Carlito was right on the money when he laughed at the idea that Dom can compete at the level of a world champion.
New Day vs. The War Raiders vs. Rey Mysterio & Dragon Lee is happening tonight, and the winning team earns a future shot at WWE Tag Team Champions Finn Balor & JD McDonagh. Sheamus vs. Ludwig Kaiser is also booked on the card. These guys split a couple of Raw matches in the summer and are now looking to settle the score for good. Zelina Vega played a role in LWO’s victory over American Made last week when she attacked Chad Gable and Ivy Nile.
