WWE is taping the December 23 episode of RAW directly after the December 16, 2024 tapings., with a lineup featuring several matches and intense rivalries. The final first-round match from the Women’s Intercontinental Championship and two grudge matches happen on this week’s WWE Raw Holiday Special. This show was taped last week at the TD Garden in Boston, MA. We can expect a main event to be added during the show but that’s all we’ll say on this spoiler-free preview. Alba Fyre and Natalya are set to share the ring with Kairi Sane in a Women’s Intercontinental Championship match. But a backstage assault on Sane, last week, makes the chances of her making it as likely as Kevin Owens getting coal from Santa this year. Gable has vowed to make each Alpha Academy member pay individually. He starts with Tozawa. The Miz was happy to just forgive and forget about The Wyatt Sicks kidnapping him. But Karrion Kross and The Final Testament still feel he’s indebted to them. Firstly, because Paul Ellering took a bullet for him during a Wyatt Sicks and The Final Testament brawl. Secondly, Ellering returned a few weeks later and launched powder into Uncle Howdy’s face to allow The Miz and The Final Testament to beat The Wyatt Sicks. So, The Miz is being forced to face Dexter Lumis one-on-one. Seth Rollins and CM Punk may continue to work towards their match when WWE Raw premieres on Netflix. The Wyatt Sicks and the Final Testament & The Miz are involved in a fierce feud, the two factions collided recently in an eight-man tag team match. The Final Testament picked up the win in the clash as Paul Ellering made his return and interfered during the match. The Miz tries to leave The Final Testament once again, saying that they’re done with The Wyatt Sicks, but Karrion Kross says they’re done with the Wyatts when he says they’re done.The Miz will face Dexter Lumis next week. This was Wyatt Sicks’ first loss since their debut in June this year. The feud is still heating up as The Miz will now face Dexter Lumis in a singles match on this week’s episode. This match was set up by Karrion Kross as he ordered The Miz to ask General Adam Pearce for this match. Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods are also scheduled to make an appearance on the 12/23 episode of the Red brand. Since kicking Big E out of the New Day faction Kingston and Woods have been getting brutal treatment from the locker room as well as WWE fandom. Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley will also compete on WWE Raw on Netflix on January 6, 2025. This means there’s little main-event talent available to top WWE Raw, this week. Drew McIntyre will probably look for revenge on Sami Zayn who attacked him last week. Finally, The New Day might demand a shot at the new World Tag Team Champions if they are allowed in the building. Gunther will enjoy his last few weeks on WWE Raw without being irritated by Logan Paul. Paul arrives on WWE Raw on Netflix and wants a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship.
